The first days with your newborn are beautiful, exhausting, emotional, and incredibly short.
Your newborn photography experience shouldn’t require packing diaper bags, timing feeds around a drive across Indianapolis, or trying to get everyone out the door.
I bring the studio to you.
Professional lighting, backdrops, wraps, props, newborn wardrobe and everything needed to create polished, studio quality newborn portraits are brought directly into your home.
You simply love on your baby. I’ll take care of the rest.

From planning and styling to your final portraits, every detail is thoughtfully handled so you can simply enjoy this season with your baby.

Professional lighting, backdrops, posing equipment and everything needed to create studio-quality newborn portraits comes directly to you.
3. Curated Newborn Wardrobe & Props
Beautiful wraps, outfits, headbands and carefully selected props are provided and styled specifically for your baby.
4. Parent & Sibling Portraits
Your baby’s story includes the people who love them most. Parent, sibling and family portraits are always welcomed as part of your session.
5. Baby-Led Posing
Sessions are intentionally unhurried and led by your baby’s needs, with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, snuggling and breaks.
6. Fine Art Retouching
Every selected portrait is professionally hand retouched to create the polished, timeless finish Brenaya Faye Photography is known for.

Newborn sessions are typically photographed within the first 6–18 days after birth, though every baby is different. Your session is reserved using your due date, and we finalize the exact session date once your little one arrives.
Your newborn session takes place in the comfort of your own home, with my complete studio setup brought directly to you.
A $300 retainer is required to reserve your due date, with the remaining balance due one week prior to your session.
Your experience begins before I ever arrive at your home. We’ll plan your session, discuss styling and family portraits, and make sure everything is prepared so your session day feels relaxed and effortless.
Please allow approximately 1–3 hours for your newborn session. Sessions are completely baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes and snuggles without ever feeling rushed.
Parent and sibling portraits are included, along with access to my curated collection of newborn wraps, outfits, headbands and props.

What do I need to have for my In-Home Newborn Session?
Very little! I bring the studio experience directly to your home, including professional lighting, backdrops, wraps, newborn outfits, headbands, and a curated selection of props. You’ll receive guidance before your session so you know exactly how to prepare. All I need is enough space to set up ( Which doesn’t need to be much space at all) you can focus on your baby while I handle the rest.
What is the investment for an Indianapolis Newborn Photography Session ?
In-home newborn portrait sessions begin at $790.
A $300 retainer reserves your due date, with the remaining balance due one week before your session. Your session includes a personalized, full service experience with the option to purchase additional images and heirloom artwork.
Do you really bring the entire newborn studio to my home?
Yes. I bring professional lighting, backdrops, posing equipment, wraps, outfits, headbands and carefully selected props directly to your Indianapolis area home. You don’t need a picture perfect house or a large open space, I create the studio setup for you and work with the space you have.
When should I book my newborn photographer in Indianapolis?
I recommend reserving your newborn session during your second or early third trimester whenever possible. Your due date is placed on my calendar, and we schedule the exact session date once your baby arrives. I accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month to allow flexibility for each baby’s arrival.
What if my baby is already born or older than 18 days?
Please still reach out! While newborn sessions are often photographed within the first 6–18 days, beautiful newborn portraits can absolutely be created with older babies. I use a baby-led approach and adjust the session based on your baby’s age, comfort, and individual needs.
