As an Indianapolis baby photographer, I create timeless milestone portraits that preserve your child exactly as they are in this season. Their expressions, personality, tiny details, and all.
Baby milestone sessions are commonly photographed around 3 months, 6 months, the sitting stage, 9 months, and the first birthday, but there is no perfect schedule. Every baby develops differently, and your session can be planned around the milestone that feels meaningful to your family.
And these sessions aren’t only for babies. Toddler and childhood milestone portraits are also available, making it easy to continue documenting your child as they grow.
THE INDIANAPOLIS BABY PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE
$300 Retainer to Reserve Your Session
A $300 retainer is required to reserve your session date and is applied toward your final portrait collection. Baby & Milestone Portrait Experiences begin at $490.
Your experience includes personalized session planning, professional studio lighting and backdrops, guided posing, access to curated wardrobe options for little ones, and a private gallery reveal where you will select your favorite portraits.
Sessions can be customized with beautifully styled monochromatic sets in a variety of colors, coordinating wardrobe, and thoughtfully selected props to complement your child without distracting from them.
Best of all, I bring the complete studio experience to your Indianapolis area home, so you can enjoy polished, studio quality baby portraits without packing everyone up and traveling to a studio.
Baby Milestone Photography in Indianapolis
One of my favorite parts of being an Indianapolis baby photographer is documenting how much your little one changes throughout their first year. From those early expressions during their newborn session to sitting, crawling, standing, and celebrating their first birthday, every stage deserves to be remembered.
3 Month Baby Portraits
Around three months, sessions focus on the tiny details and emerging personality that are already beginning to change. We’ll photograph your baby comfortably on their back, during tummy time when appropriate, and capture those sweet expressions, stretches, and early smiles.
6 Month & Sitter Sessions
This is such a fun stage to photograph. Once your baby begins sitting (with or without a little support) we can create more interactive portraits that showcase their growing personality. Simple props, curated wardrobe pieces, and beautifully styled backdrops keep the focus completely on your baby.
9 Month Baby Portraits
By this stage, personalities are often in full force. Whether your little one is crawling, standing, exploring, or simply giving us those expressions you know so well, your session is designed around what they can comfortably do right now.
First Birthday Portraits
One year deserves to be celebrated. First birthday sessions can feature timeless milestone portraits or be paired with a custom cake smash photography experience for an extra special way to document turning ONE.

Sessions are intentionally simple and child-led. Rather than expecting your little one to perform or reach a certain milestone by a certain age, we photograph them exactly as they are, whether they’re smiling, sitting, crawling, standing, exploring, or simply showing off the personality you never want to forget.
A curated wardrobe is available for little ones, along with thoughtfully selected props and styling options to create a cohesive, timeless final gallery.

What to expect before, during and after your session
STEP 1: INQUIRE
Complete the inquiry form to tell me a little about your child and the milestone you would love to document. I’ll be in touch with availability, session details, and collection options so we can begin planning your experience.
STEP 2: RESERVE & PLAN
Once your session is reserved, you’ll receive a questionnaire so I can learn more about your child, their personality, current milestones, and your vision for the session.
Together, we’ll choose styling, wardrobe, colors, and the overall look of your portraits. Every detail is planned ahead of time so that when session day arrives, you can simply enjoy the experience.
STEP 3: I BRING THE STUDIO TO YOU
No packing up your little one, driving across town, or worrying about whether you remembered everything.
I bring my professional mobile studio directly to your Indianapolis area home, including lighting, backdrops, carefully selected props, and wardrobe options. Your session is relaxed, child-led, and designed around your little one’s personality and comfort.
All I need is a little space in your home, I take care of the rest.
STEP 4: VIEW & SELECT YOUR PORTRAITS
After your session, you’ll have the opportunity to view your images and select the portraits included in your chosen collection.
Additional digital images and heirloom artwork may also be available, allowing you to preserve your favorites in a way that can be enjoyed beyond your phone or computer.
STEP 5: FINAL DELIVERY
Your selected portraits receive professional retouching before being delivered through a private online gallery. Any heirloom artwork you choose will be professionally prepared so your favorite images can become part of your home and your family’s story.
