Many times families skip over the 3 month milestone photoshoot and wait for the 6 month session. However, I think all sessions within that first year are a way to capture moments that you will some day miss. Newborns until 3 months old change so much! They become much more expressive and alert, they sometimes have found their limbs and are typically socially smiling at your face.

All babies can be unpredictable when it comes to how they will feel or act during a session. Some babies hate my flash and some love it so much they won’t take their eyes off of it. At 3 months old, your baby will be so curious of their surroundings which is why I will be sure to let your little one get comfortable first before we start the session. I tell all my parents not to stress if the session isn’t going as planned. Just like us adults, babies have off days too and I will do whatever it takes to capture your sweet babe at their happiest. If we need to reschedule we can absolutely do so.

Sweet Maxon came to see me for his big 3 month milestone session and he was FULL of smiles and of course trying to figure out who this lady was hovering over him with a camera. Haha! With 3 month olds, sometimes they are able to hold their head up and sometimes not. As you can see, we still got plenty of variety during his milestone session.
