As a mom of 4 you know this questions pops up in my head plenty of times during the week “What are some fun things to do with babies and toddlers in Atlanta” , so I am here to list a few of the places that I have come across that my younger children who are ages 3, 2.5 and 8 months enjoy. Some we have been to and some we are planning to check out!
We currently live west of Atlanta so the drive to get around is usually about 30-45 minutes into the city which is not bad for a full day of fun!
Alright let’s get to the fun stuff!
Things to do with Babies and Toddlers in Atlanta, GA
The first on our list is the Children’s Museum of Atlanta! At the museum they have imaginative play such as a kitchen, store, farm and delivery truck. I love that they kids can be themselves and shop, cook drive around etc.
They also have a variety of other exhibits and there is so much to do when you are there for your scheduled time, my son absolutely loves the fishing pond (they have jackets for them to wear) if your children are anything like mine who just cannot stay dry! Ha
Next would be the Atlanta Zoo, this is another winner in our household because who just doesn’t love going to look at all of the animals and even feeding the giraffes (this can be a long wait sometimes so just get a ticket right away if you are there).
If you are west of Atlanta, The Little Event Studio in Hiram is perfect for littles ages 8 and younger. They have open play three times a week where you can go and just let the kids run and play, they have a ball pit, plenty of play food, bikes, jump houses and more. I love that they have soft play for the tiniest little ones! Here’s the kicker! They have Mother’s Morning Out Tuesday’s and Thursday’s I mean come on! This is a done deal right? Drop the kids and run your errands mama!
Such a sweet little face!
Big Air trampoline park! If you need your littles to jump off some energy this is the place for you. Check your local Big Air and see their current times. They also have specific days for toddler time so you don’t have to worry about your little one being jumped on by the bigger kids.
Sparkles Fun Center , a roller skating rink that also has a playground and arcade. At sparkles they also have monthly events for children ages 5 and under such as tea parties and your little ones favorite character parties, check your local sparkles for list of events. During these scheduled events you can bring anything for your babies to ride on such as a bike or scooter as we all know little children in skates is not always easy.
On the opposite side of Atlanta in Gainsville is Interactive Neighborhood for Kids this museum is all about hands on learning with interactive play. They have many different exhibits such as a diner, film studio, beauty salon, grocery store, animal hospital, a playground and many more. There is so much to do and the times we have went it has not been crowded.
Lastly, on our list of fun things to do with babies and toddlers in Atlanta would be Ready Set Fun. This establishment is a great indoor playground with fun for ages 0-8, they have a soft play area for the babies and then an indoor playground for the older toddlers.
