As a newborn photographer in Lincoln Nebraska it fills my heart being able to capture these cherished moments for families like theirs (and yours). These memories are now frozen in time and will be heirlooms down the road. The sweetest baby boy Theo came to see me for his newborn photography session at my studio in Lincoln. His parents also had me capture their maternity session and fresh 48 session!
What to expect | Newborn Photography Lincoln NE
During a newborn photoshoot with Brenaya Faye Photography these are the things that you can expect during our time together. When you fill out the contact form on the website, I will contact you within 24 hours. Depending on the way you chose for correspondence, we will chat about your due date, if there are any questions, concerns, requests etc. Typically newborn sessions are secured when you are in your second trimester, however if you forget and reach out after delivery I will try to make accommodations to fit you in the schedule if I have availability. Because of the nature of newborn photo sessions, I only take a handful a month! So be sure to reach out early. Babies come on their own time and I need to be able to have wiggle room to fit sessions in. After you deliver we will pencil you in on the calendar for your photoshoot. This will take place within the first 2 weeks of baby being born.
Posed or Lifestyle | Nebraska Newborn Photographer
Some may ask what is the difference between a posed newborn session and a lifestyle newborn session. They both are done after the birth of baby, however they differ greatly. Let me explain the differences for you. A posed newborn session is just as it sounds and what you may see a lot of floating around the internet. Your baby will be posed in the super cute scrunchy newborn poses as shown below. The colors used will be 100% custom to your wants. We typically do a 2-3 poses on a table and then 2-3 props depending on baby as baby is boss! These sessions take approximately 1.5-3 hours in length. With a lifestyle session these can be a little more flexible with scheduling because the session more candid in nature and can be done in your own home using your bedroom, couches, living area etc. What I am most excited about is being able to soon offer both! You will get the option to have studio lifestyle or posed newborn sessions done! I will have set ups for both at my new studio!
