What’s a better way to celebrate your child’s first birthday! As your Lincoln Cake Smash Photographer I will capture your baby as they smash some cake… and eat it too! The focus is all about your little one as they’re getting ready to hit the biggest milestone YET!
A simple cake smash session with Brenaya Faye Photography includes a solid white backdrop (any color of your choosing), a cake (if no allergies) and a “One” cake topper. Your little one also has full access to the client closet for a monochromatic look.
If you are looking for a birthday session without a cake a milestone portrait session will be the option for you!
Cake Smash Session Investment
Session Creative Fee- $175
The Creative fee of $175 is due to secure your Simple cake smash session on the calendar. This fee includes a vanilla cake*, session time from beginning to end, and wardrobe use.
This fee does not include any prints products or digital files.
Simple Cake Smash sessions are done on a solid white backdrop only with minimal distractions. We will add a garland behind baby in the colors of your choice.
*Cake is Only provided if your child has NO known allergies. No cake? No problem we can use any other food option.

35 Images (Full Gallery) – $1400
Single Digital Files are $75/image for Newborn and Maternity Sessions & $50/image for Milestones, Child, Cake Smash and Outdoor Family Sessions
What to Expect – Cake Smash Session
PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION:
You want to hire a first birthday photographer that executes exactly what you are looking for.
Once your creative fee is paid and your contract has been signed we will schedule your session date based on your little ones birthday. Typically for cake smash sessions, we will do their cake smash photoshoot when baby is between 10-11 months old. This is to ensure I get the final gallery to you before their big day! For all session types you will receive a pre-session questionnaire which will assist me in customizing your session to include a specific theme and/or colors. After your questionnaire has been completed you can entrust that I will capture everything we discussed just the way you envision.
THE SESSION:
The big day is finally here! When you arrive to my home studio, as your first birthday photographer in Nebraska, I will have everything needed based off your questionnaire answers. You can just sit back and enjoy the craziness and mess! No need to supply anything, I have an array of infant/child clothing pieces for you to choose from. If you have a sentimental item that you would like to incorporate into your session you are more than to have it handy! We will start with baby nice and clean with the backdrop, this is the time that I will get to know your little one and play with them to get them familiar with me and my flashing light. Once baby is ready and comfortable, we will start snapping away and then introduce the cake.
GALLERY VIEWING:
The moment you’ve been waiting for! Within a week of your session date it is time for us to meet over zoom to view your beautiful images from your session! I love being able to enjoy the joy on my clients faces when they see their images for the first time. We will go through your gallery and choose only the images you absolutely LOVE and can’t live without to be edited. The image amount will be determined by the collection/package you choose. I will assist you with choosing and designing products to display in your home based off of your needs and wants as well as if you wanted any gift items for family and friends.
Delivery:
Your gorgeous products and digital images are ready to go to their forever home within 4-6 weeks from your gallery viewing appointment. I will reach out to you once your products have arrived and we will schedule a time for me to come hand deliver them to you! Yep you read that right! No need to have to come to me to pick them up I bring them right to your home. There is nothing more amazing than having tangible products which are now the focal points in your home for years to come.
