Being an Atlanta Newborn Photographer is the best job ever! Ever since I was little I have always loved babies. I was always the little girl bringing my doll everywhere I went. I even went as far as asking for a highchair at restaurants for my baby doll. haha! Sweet Mackenzie came to me ready for her newborn photoshoot here in Atlanta.

Have you ever wondered what all happens at a newborn photography session? When you book with me (Brenaya Faye Photography) I am there every step of the way. When you first reach out we will schedule a time to hop on a brief call for a consult. This is to ensure we are the right fit for one another. When Mackenzie showed up to the studio I knew she was going to be awake majority of the session! I can tell right away and she definitely was. I was able to get her to sleep for a few poses but she was so curious about what was going on around her. When babies show up to my Atlanta newborn photography studio, and are not wanting to sleep, that is totally fine. If this happens my workflow changes a bit. We will start with wrapped poses as sometimes this will help with getting them to snooze. If they do end up falling asleep we will do poses on the table to see all of the squish (my FAV!).

These are so much fun! As you can see she was like “Whaaaaaat”! haha This is also my go to pose when babies do not sleep during their newborn portrait session. I am able capture all of the first expressions for you to cherish forever. Many clients love these and put them in the Framed 9 which is one of the add-on options for collections.
